I have just returned to Maui from my mainland road trip… San Francisco, Humboldt County redwoods, the Trinity River, Reno, and ending at the sacred Paiute land of Pyramid Lake, Nevada. 

Symbiosis Pyramid Eclipse took place at this vortex, and 8,000 of us watched and absorbed from the 2-hour alignment of the eclipse.  

There is creativity and beauty all around, and its what makes photographing conscious gatherings one of my favorite things in the world. Genuine smiles, tears of emotion, and people expressing themselves in their unique, cosmic way.  This tribal lifestyle and community is what many on Earth right now crave!

Anah Reichenbach aka Hoopalicious, and I met in Bali at Sacred Circularities, and I enjoyed soaking up her teachings in the jungles of Ubud.  Three weeks later, we found ourselves overlooking the glowing Golden Gate Bridge and the bay, giggling and dancing as we created and photographed! When the sun went down, Anah lit up her Synergy Firehoop under the fullness of the Scorpio super~moon…  

Anah will be coming to Hawaii next year around SOURCE for a Hoop Revolution teacher training and workshops!  I am already looking forward to our next shoot….xo

I am in California for Symbiosis Pyramid Eclipse 2012: Symbiosis intends to facilitate peak experiences through a synaesthesia of art, music, transformational learning, and sustainable living integrated into an unparalleled extravaganza of fun beneath the starry skies.Our organization was founded on strong principles of environmental consciousness and ecological sustainability and each event has continued to advance this vision through the implementation of both time-tested and innovative eco-action initiatives.We seek to provide a space for the fusion of aesthetics, sound, and natural living, in an atmosphere of interactive co-creation so we may share in moments that are transformative and inspiring, based in a deep respect for our community and environment.  Sasha and I attended Symbiosis 2009, which took place on a beautiful lake in Yosemite.  We are part of the photography and media team this year, and I cannot wait to share the experiences from this gathering with you all!
